We had 1 ambulance that worked as the other 3 were so rusted out they would not support the 02 tanks anymore. In 81 my commanders car was a 73 dodge dart that you could see the road through the door because of the rust. This was in SHAPE Belgium. I was there from 01/81-08/84. Buy the time I left we had new equipment in the Hospital and 4 new ambulances.
