Oh, one more thing, I never put my phone number in the advert, everything comes through email. I don't text.

I have only sold 1 thing on CL, it was a KLR 650 Motorcycle. I easily had a 10 to 1 BS/Time wasting response vs legit inquiries. Sifting through the BS responses is simply the cost of trying to sell something on there. As Martinjmpr has said, if you don't let all of the BS get under your skin and vet potential buyers properly it eventually works out. It took about a month, but I ended up selling the KLR 650 on CL for my full listing price and the transaction was really smooth. The majority of the time wasters with low ball offers or off the wall requirements and scammers can easily be identified and dismissed with very little vetting effort. Call them out directly for their BS and they usually go away looking for an easier target.

What did you ask? (If you don't mind me asking)

My '95 is just collecting dust in the garage. I suspect the parts are worth more than the bike at this point.

It would probably help to get an email account you can easily walk away from. The wife and I created an email account dedicated for planning our wedding. That email address got passed around like the only lighter in a crack house. We just deleted it when we were done with it.

    Well done!!!

The only thing original to my bike is pretty much the frame and I know I paid a lot for all the parts/upgrades over the years. With the new gen/phase out of the KLR I imagine parts in good shape are getting hard to find.

Oh, I don't know about that. Haven't there been approximately 4 quadrizillion KLR's made in the past 30 years? I'm pretty sure after the global Zombie apocalypse the only things still remaining will be cockroaches and KLRs.

BRING HELP AS ITEM IS HEAVY.

UNABLE TO ASSIST LOADING IN TO YOUR VEHICLE

Woman wheels up in a subaru pays me then ask if
1: can i help her load item

2: Do you think it will fit in my car?

Umm sorry unable to help load, as per the ad. No i don't think this 4x 7' table is going to fit.

I will leave the table out front, till you get someone with a truck to help you load it.

Same for guys. Yeah like my helper never showed, can you lift the machine table in my truck. NO.

That and KLR650 is Tier0 and milspec.

My bodywork is 2005 USMC pulloffs.

Pretty sure that single cylinder is chrome lined too!
