Default Unusual behavior caused by anti-depressants question.

Anyone have any real experience with this? Especially wives making big decisions, out of character. Need some info for a friend. Already asked a friend in the business and it sounds like it happens somewhat regularly.

Not an expert, but it sounds like a manic episode could be happening. Anything Bi-polar diagnosis ever?

Having just gone through some shit myself, how old is said wife? Furthermore, how does this figure into the hot/crazy matrix?

Seriously, I hope nothing gets out of control, and if there are problems, they can be resolved with a solution other than what I just experienced.

I’ve seen it many times with some women. And men too. Exactly how you’re saying just doing weird things, nothing dangerous but just out of character.

Or.... a philosophical question would be, could it be IN character for them? I’m not a doctor I just pretend to be one at bars to get laid.

Well part of the thing with SSRIs is that they give you more energy, not like RedBull, but they make you more willing to be active. The warning about increased chance of suicide at the beginning of a treatment is for people that have a desire to kill themselves, but just can't work up the motivation. SSRIs provide that motivation and bad stuff can happen. So this could be simple enough as something she's been wanting to do but wasn't motivated, and now she is. Please ask real experts in addition to us though.

That’s the point I was trying to make, OP. Lately I’ve been questioning if the “out of character” things people do is that or maybe They are just showing us who they were the whole time.

Edit: OP does this involve a Postpartum situation?
