Default Coast Guard lieutenant wanted to kill almost every last person on earth

    So glad they caught him!:
"prosecutors say Hasson drafted an email to "friends" in which he said he was "dreaming of a way to kill almost every last person on the earth. I think a plague would be most successful but how do I acquire the needed/ Spanish flu, botulism, anthrax not sure yet but will find something."

Here is the story on 2 networks.

Yep, glad this guy is caught. Put him away until he dies.

I have read the news reports and so far, I don't see a single crime; speech is free. This looks a lot like preventive detention, for a crime he might commit, which is unconstitutional. He's charged for having tramadol without intent to distribute? People need to read these reports carefully, because the Feds are not above prejudicing juries with claims that may be very exaggerated.

I feel the same while his choices of words may not have been the wisest, especially through emails which Big Brother is always watching and can find. However I'm not sure with his "white supremacist" background of so long apparently how did he ever get a clearance and become a Lieutenant in the Cost Guard. Media will definitely take full advantage of this story as it fits their agenda and theory they are definitely workin on portraying.

speaking of the medias agenda. Nary a word from the politicians who decried this as a modern day lynching. To every media outlet having the spine to walkback their OUTRAGE over another attack by trump supporting racist

Don't forget about his "cache" of 15 weapons and 1000rds of ammo.

In a few years most people, including many on this site, will be conditioned to believe that people like the above describe should be locked up and their guns confiscated. And if you feel that way already, you better watch what you type of this, or any other, forum.

I'm definitely skeptical of the main stream media's narrative. I have no idea what this guy did or didn't do, but putting his views on trial in the court of public opinion is not something I support nor do I support taking somebody's property without due process.

This is not a new situation. We've seen people planning attacks be intervened and arrested before. Of course I can't remember any of them specifically because nothing happened but an arrest.

That said, the media narrative cannot be trusted presently, as is perfectly illustrated by the Covington Catholic school kid suing the Wash Post for $250 million. Hope he wins.

The coast guard was not paid during the government shut down.

Some people may have taken it personal.
