FNX 45 Tactical - Reddot issues

Anyone else have an FNx45T and mount an optic on it? I can?t get the screws provided to work with my vortex venom and I can?t seem to find a resource of where to order new ones that actually work with this combo. I?ve seen a number of complaints with the same issue on amazon reviews where I ordered the optic and on forums but nobody has listed a fix for it that I?ve seen. Any suggestions? I reached out to vortex last week but haven?t heard anything back.

I know these are #6 screws but I?m not sure the exact proper length I need.

I called FN tech support and the socket head screws that come with the pistol are 5-40x3/8. The next step up is 5-40x1/2"and I found an option below that was the best priced for 100 pieces.

Hopefully these work. If anybody else has this same issue let me know as I’ll have 100 of these screws.
