Default Shipping handgun out of state

Its been a while since I shipped a handgun to an out of state buyer. I know obviously no USPS. It seems like what I read online is no ups anymore either unless you are a ffl. So that leaves fedex but when i typed in rough weight and medium sized box into their calculator it was like $125 to ship it. So is it without a doubt better to use a dealer now even with their fees?

FFL - FFL Usually $30-50 through them. Long guns can be shipped w/out using one.
Providing the accepting FFL takes a long gun from individual. Down here, no one will accept from an individual. Well not yet

Just have your FFL do it. Makes life easier.

This is the easiest way. Save yourself the headache. Most have reasonable fees.
