    Gazette article

So as long as we're talking mexican restaurants and money laundering, in the 'springs my favorite mexican dive was named (among others): Albertaco on Austin Bluffs less than a mile East of Academy at Barnes.

Might explain the sudden closure and 'renovation' it went through about a month or so ago.

Try the Polo Asado Burrito. A meal unto itself at ~$6.25 after tax. Be sure to hose it down with both the red and green sauce.

The Swiss Chalet. Went in there a couple of times. Way overpriced "vintage" watches.

    Now I want tacos.

All of us at work really miss the Silver Fox that was Stapleton North just west of Holly. The Mexican food there was awesome.

Another place we miss was called Mutdears off 35th and the Park Hill golf course....real shit hole, but it was good AND a good value. Fieldhouse burger with extra cheese and fries was $3.75. The establishment, as I heard it, was once one of the first McDonalds in the state. Being light skinned though, you would get some dirty looks until the staff welcomed you in front of other patrons, as a regular.
