    Default Son's FNX 45 Purchase

I was with my son's tonight after a visit to ROADHOUSE. We decided to hit our local gun store in the Springs which is Springs Armory.. great place! My son picked up a two tone FNX 45 ACP non Tactical. What a nice gun with a fantastic trigger. This is my first time even holding an FN Pistol and I like the heck out of it. Three 15 round mags so with a full mag and one in the pipe you have a 16 rounds of thunder. Big gun of course, but I'm sure it will be fun at the range. Trigger feels like 4lbs and reset is nice. Looking forward to shooting this one.

I have owned 3 FN FiveseveNs. Love the triggers on them all. Very easy to tell reset.

High capacity .45s...you really notice how heavy the loaded mags are. I have a double stack Kimber and that thing is pretty exclusive to the range.

Hope you guys have fun with the new shooter!

I've been going since day one. Pretty amazing place and a boombing business. They are going to rent the facility next door soon or it has been suggested they may. That is the business "Red Leg Tactical" as they are no affiliation but are leaving and Springs Armory will I hope expand/overflow into that facility as their business continues to grow. Your right, best staff ever and owners!

That I don't know and I guess I should say I didn't hear it from them actually. Since it was mentioned the gun store may have the opportunity to rent their space, I'm assuming they are leaving. Just don't know and I'll have to run them down where ever they go... I like their Kydex holsters and have sevearal over the past few years.

My son's and friends went to MAGNUM Shooting Center yesterday evening as Monday's are slow. I did not attend and was just a tired old man after a busy morning of errands and trying my new big ass push broom from Big R on my driveway to clean the last snow. Anywho, they came home and the new FNX 45ACP is the talk of the town. Very good shooter, low recoil for a 45 and just smooth as butter. Might have to get me one for a new bed side thunder cannon! I'm just happy he likes the new FN and its not in any way a disappointment! I've watched a full detailed strip video and I'm impressed with the mechanics of it and I see similarities internally of a Glock IMHO but better. Good stuff!
