    Default Centennial Lion

Got a "next door" notification from the City of Centennial this afternoon of a mtn lion spotting in the Homestead area of Centennial. That's not far from where I live so I've been extra cautious this evening when the pooch has wanted to go out in the backyard. First I'd sweep it with a flashlight then I'd look around for prints. I'm sure we didn't have anything to worry about but my pup is too important to leave to chance.

We dealt with the constant worry of lions when we lived in Bailey. Mostly because there's not a Jack Russell on the planet that doesn't think s/he is a match for a mountain lion.

A couple of years ago there were two of them in an abandoned house in our neighborhood. I'm watchful for people's pets and kids.

Or any other animal for that matter, they are fearless with no hesitation about it. Some dogs you can see the thought process, jacks.....nope.
