    Default Snowmageddon 2019

Colorado Springs has gone full Snowmageddon 2019.
Looking over the KKTV closing schedule, everything is closed: city, utility & county governments, schools, churches, daycare, etc..
60 degree's today and everything is closed tomorrow, crazy days.

If this hits like they predict, stay safe & stay warm everyone !!

Not one flake has fallen yet and everyone is going all in on buying what the meteorologists are selling.

Five military bases in Colorado Springs and they're currently "business as usual" - for now.

While I do hope, if it gets as bad as they are projecting, that everyone stays safe, I secretly hope to get sent home early and not have to go in on Thursday. I a very rare occurrence, I actually have work I can take home with me that will earn me at least a few hours pay.

House is full of food (always is), my snow blower is ready to go and I've got plenty of fuel to keep it running as long as I need. BRING ON THE SNOW!

Blizzard warning was 12pm-12am tomorrow, and was recently updated to starting at 10am tomorrow. Not sure why anyone is expecting snow tonight.

I was just saying in another thread that I have photos of March 22, 2016 that looked just like today. March 23, 2016 and there was 9" of snow on the streets with taller drifts every where. A blizzard in March is not uncommon.

If Google photos wasn't being such a piece of garbage right now I'd post photos of the current weather radar map that shows stuff going on over most of the US right now. It's not like nothing is happening.

It's interesting to see the differences in what the weather app on my phone shows, and what these other sites show as far as radar.

All we got at the North end of town is rain right now.
