Wind seems to be really picking up again.

Got back inside after 3 hours plowing the driveway and clearing the rest with the Toro. Eight hours without electricity with no estimated restoration time from Xcel yet. Not sure about Nederland but all of the Peak to Peak north beyond Allenspark is out. The state plows finally got two narrow lanes open. It's still snowing but I think the big thrust is over.
We're okay on heat because we have a thermopile furnace that doesn't require electricity. My neighbor tenants have a high efficiency furnace that requires electricity so they're sol until the juice come on. We all have buddy heaters and can run the Buck wood stoves on low but they really need 120V for the recirc fans. You can't buy this much fun in the big city.
This is a weird storm in that it doesn't look like much (I can see some of my neighbor's tall weeds and roofs look barely covered) but when you go to shovel it feels like a good solid 6-8" of heavy wet snow. Streets are a mess in my neighborhood.

Is it letting up in your area ? It’s still coming down and blowing sideways in Aurora. Too much so to try shoveling.
We shall see if the mod on my snow blower was worth it tomorrow when it is all done coming down.

Yeah, the wind is still blowing, but seems like most of the snow is gone. I'll post some pictures of the yard since no one else has yet.
