We officially have no way to get a vehicle off the property as of now. RZRs and 4 wheeler wont go. Raptor is stuck at the gate.
Not sure if this album is visible.

It was eery, barren, yet peaceful this morning around 6:30. Far contrast to the prior hallowing the previous 24 hours. I was at the Briargate YMCA yesterday morning around 8 when the rain was slowly turning to snow. Then it was all snow, first sticking to lawns, then the streets were getting slushy. Wind became something fierce; stopped at Ace to get some back up propane, and by this time, 10:30, it was full on blizzard.
Sun is poking through today Thursday, chuncks falling from eaves(house faces east-west). Three foot drifts along fence in yard, car parked on street encrusted. Live just south of Woodmen/Black Forest, west of Marksheffel.
CDL drivers are required to turn them on if they are climbing at less than 45 mph.
Just in case you wondered going up Mt. Vernon Canyon.
I use mine in the Yukon when there is a road blocked ahead and drivers around me don't watch the traffic patterns developing way in front of them.
Trying to get home from DC has been a cluster with the snow and everyone grounding their 737 Max planes.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

Kusa.com (Ch 9) story on rescuing stranded drivers-

Gotta love this gem...
Late Wednesday night we spoke by phone with Marie Carrico. She was headed to Pueblo with her dog and son when they became stranded on the highway around 11 a.m. They were not rescued until around 10 p.m. when they were put on a bus and taken to the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
"Just more exhaustion still not really knowing what?s going to happen next. There were a lot of nice people on the bus. Most of us are very upset it took so long and none of us have any idea what's going on," she told 9NEWS.
What an ungrateful, entitled asshat!
Early morning news on Channel 4 was reporting that people were in their cars without coats even though it was a blizzard.
They interviewed a pre-school teacher that reported to work and was released for the day.
He was wearing shorts and a Green Bay Packers hat. Said he lived here 16 years and this was his normal garb.
Well, ain't that professional?

Internet was down for almost 10 minutes yesterday. I almost panicked.
It is amazing how ill prepared some people are.
Hope everyone is safe and where they should be.

Crazy there is no snow in the yard, but can't get out of the driveway.
Used to see this all the time at AAA. People would call in demanding to know what's taking so long, they were cold and didn't have a jacket. One lady declared that she would NOT be spending the gas to keep her heater on. Okay, be cold then.
Another lady said "Hurry, I'm running out of gas!" I asked how much gas she had and she said "Only 3/4 of a tank." I responded with, "Okay ma'am, you have enough gas to idle your car for about three days, you're not going to run out of gas before the tow truck arrives.
"There are no finger prints under water."
Went out and helped one of my neighbor's this morning; UTV wasn't going to do much in this stuff.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
