On laptop or desktop it's just the PrtScr (PrintScreen) button between F12 and insert. Push that button and it takes a screen shot. Then paste it into whatever paint or picture app and save as a PDF or JPEG.

That grabs the whole dang screen. Alt-Prtscn will also grab just the active window (mostly) but also dumps any cursor selection popups, etc. Snagit and Greenshot take over those keys and do way way way more much better.Originally Posted by Irving
I needed to update mine to get it working, but just prtscrn this selection directly to imgur and it puts the image URL link in my clipboard for pasting.
