I used to split my time evenly between CO and FL due to my fishing problem. When the corps of engineers isn't dumping Lake O in both directions, the fishing is pretty good but eventually fuel runs low and you have to return to land. That's when the weirdness starts again. I doubt it's possible to find as many shady goings-on in any other state, it's an unusual place to be sure. Unless I planned on spending most waking hours offshore, I'd never schedule a trip to Florida.
Florida is best enjoyed from afar via stories about Florida Man.
Was reading a review of the Pokemon: Detective Pikachu movie on Rotten Tomatoes website. This was from one of the critics that didn't like it;
Oil and water. Toothpaste and orange juice. Good decisions and Florida. Some things just don't go together, and you can add Ryan Reynolds' voice and Pikachu to that list.
