Florida man arrested for allegedly throwing corn cob at mom's head

A Florida man was arrested Sunday after an alleged culinary confrontation in which police say the 27-year-old hurled an ear of corn at his mother's head.

Cody Cummins was arrested at about 3:30 a.m. after being accused of the corn kerfuffle at a Zephyrills home, WOFL reported, citing the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.Cummins is accused of throwing the corn cob at his mom. Officials said the woman was hurt, but didn't sustain any injuries in the food fight.

Cummins allegedly fled the scene, but was later tracked down and taken into custody. Online arrest records show he was charged with domestic battery.

A Florida man is facing manslaughter charges, accused of accidentally and fatally shooting a woman during a sex act on Sunday, authorities said.

Andrew Shinault, 23, shot a woman in her 20s in the upper body with his registered handgun about 12:30 p.m., the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

GAINESVILLE, FL – A 37-year-old man is dead after his trailer home was destroyed in a meth-lab explosion, caused by him lighting up ‘blue angels’ to amuse his wife.



The man’s wife was found lying naked on the couple’s front yard, reportedly still laughing. “A Blue Angel is when you put a lighter up to your butt and fart on it, making it catch on fire. It’s funny as s—,” explains the mans wife, who claims to be an expert on the subject. “Normally we go to Del Taco because of their $0.59 tacos, but we made some extra cash this week so we went to Chipotle. The farts you get from there could fill a gas chamber. I know he’s looking up from hell laughing his ass off saying it was worth it,” she says smiling through blackened teeth, apparently not caused by the fire.

I'm no expert but I imagine that thing smelled like death for some time. It should have been obvious. Unless it was a warehouse for storing disappeared bodies.
