also gives me hope, but not much of it. After all, all one has to do is look at several of the carrier politicians and what they have done, but yet, they keep getting voted in time and time again. It's gotten to the point that people that identify as a "D" simply can't bring themselves to vote for anyone with a "R" after their name.
Look at Colo. this last voting cycle. The state voted down every tax increase that was on the ballot, BUT yet they voted over overwhelmingly to put the "D"s in control of the legislation and what do the "D"s have on the agenda, MORE TAXES and lots of programs that need MORE TAXES.
