I'm starting to wonder if recalls aren't a bad strategy. They are really going all out and pissing everyone off.

Got a heads up on this from Kevin Lundberg's email last night...

They are trying to kill the senior property tax exemption. They are claiming a new credit will be created but it has all sorts of conditions and a phase out.

Oh, and this is technically a tax increase which should require a vote under TABOR. If you look at the language of the bill they are just changing the maximum credit to $0 which effectively nullifies it, probably so they can say they didn't impose a new tax, just changed the credit max.

There's a lot of ideological reasons why they would do this that won't be explained but it's a bad look from the party that cares.
