    Default Cost to repaint SUV?

Roughly speaking, what should it cost to repaint a 4Runner, for example? Quality job, comparable to OEM. Assuming only normal surface prep is necessary, no body work. Option one is same paint as original, option two is changing the color.

It will be much more expensive to change color and do it right. It has been a while since I have estimated a joke like that, but depending on he shop you are looking a couple of grand at least. Check with Hampton Auto Body in Centennial I think. Talk to Mike.

About $3K original color, add $1K to $5K to change color depending on how far you go. Done totally right, it ain't cheap. Pulling the interior, and stripping off all the trim on doors, stripping the firewall and radiator support, shock towers, etc. takes a LOT of time.

If the body is really good, and you are willing to strip and sand some yourself with no color change, even the cheap places like MAACO can lay down a decent paint job. It is their prep that is terrible.
