The Miami office of the FBI first identified a possible threat involving Pais on the morning of April 16, authorities alleged. What appears to really have escalated things, for obvious reasons: Authorities say that Sol Pais took the step of flying to the Denver area, where she bought a gun.
I think it's safe to assume they were looking into her. The FBI had the flight, gun purchase, and threats all connected on the very day she flew.

With all the nutters it's probably safe to assume the FBI has a list of people who have made threats or are unstable and flags them based on behavior. Pais created two data points in a single day.

Least of our concerns, really. Not that I support this, but with BGCs and mag bans we've already lost more.

She's been captured! So apparently they found their PC.

The media doesn't really need mass shootings anymore to push gun control. They can generate all the fear they need with hypothetical non-events and the Libs eat it up.

Meanwhile the schools are so soft that this shut them all down. A threat assessment on a single person with a shotgun and the reasonable response is "shut it all down." No one will be talking about this.
