Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Bitchin' match, Sean. Thanks again!
Will there be a July match, or is it too close to the state event?
There will be a July 3 match short of catastrophic events.

Lots of questions about the night match. It is tentatively scheduled for the night after the 2 Oct 21 match. I am still pending the large steel targets for the 200 yd berm. Yes, we will be shooting to 200 yds in the night match. I am going to keep two of the paper stages up from the day match and may or may not adjust them and adjust the 200 yd steel stage for the night match.
YOU MUST HAVE SHOT AT LEAST ONE OF THE DAY MATCHES (and not DQed) TO SHOOT THE NIGHT MATCH. ?I would prefer you have at least two successful matches of experience. If you have others interested in the night match and they are not on the mailing list and not shot the match, the match requirement isn't negotiable.
YOU MUST have a head lamp (or helmet lamp, if you have something else in mind, ask first) on you at all times for the night match. It must have a red light setting. This is a minimal cost and is a non-negotiable safety measure. The head lamp doesn have to be on a helmet or your head, it can be worn around your neck like a necklace.
ALL ROs will run a head lamp on the red light setting during the course of fire. I have tested this a bit and it doesn't flash out the NVGs from behind the shooter. This is so the RO can positively see the shooter and their firearm.
There will be two divisions for the night match, NVG and white light. You can use whatever optics you want in either division. THERE WILL NOT be any PCC, Pistol, or 22LR divisions for this match. ?There may be in future years, but for now, let's keep it simple.
There will be limited slots available. 3 stages at 13-15 shooters a stage.
This (tentatively) will be a first night match done for Tac rifle at this club. Things may change in the future. It will depend on how good or bad aspects of the match work out.

Sean, will Bowers have demo NVG units for people to use at the night match?
