12 inches of wet snow and still snowing. Trying to knock snow off the tree branches to keep them from breaking. I don't think i will be mowing the lawn for a few days. Good thing i am retired and don't have to go anywhere.

I think my rose bushes might be damaged. My commute from north Denver to Cheyenne was uneventful except they had way too many plow trucks out clogging traffic just to push a very small amount of slush off the edge of the road.

yee Haw, isn't spring fun. So glad I upgraded tractors recently. Made the job of plowing the driveway go so much quicker. I even got to work on time, which is more than any of my co-workers could say.

Is there a job any where else in the world where you can be so wrong but yet not worry about losing your job,....as is weather forecasters in Colo. Just yesterday morning they were saying "maybe 4" on Palmer divide". Ooops, missed it by a good 8"-10".

We got 8" overnight after ~5" the past two days. I won't bother plowing because the ground is too soft and it would just tear up the driveway.

The snow was useful yesterday because I could track a large boar bear that came down the driveway and wandered around the house and cars next door. He came to our place and got bit by the electric fence in two places and then left. At least I know it works--as long as the electricity is on. I've seen this bear numerous times over three years and he's a big boy now. On May 6 he thumped the house at 4:20 am, and I got the flashlight on him at the window at less than 2 feet away. Shot him in the butt with rubber buckshot.

Default I-70 Closed Near Glenwood Springs

    According to CODOT....

I-70 Westbound / Eastbound 4 miles east of Glenwood Springs (Milemarker 122.5)
Closed WB at mm 131 and closed EB at MM 116 due to a rock slide. There is no estimated time of reopening.

The weather doesn't piss me off but the "weather forecasting" sure does when we need it.

Friday we had a fun event planned and it was 180 different. Cold and raining.

Used to be 24 hours was a guessing game but now they can't even get the day right!

My apple trees had blossoms for the first time since I planted them six years ago.
Don't think I will be seeing any apples.

And if forecast is right for 27 degrees tomorrow morning my greenhouse tomatoes may not make it.

I didn't think we'd have any more snow this spring.

I hope the garden pulls through. It probably will.
