Want your opinion on gun boxes

About 6 years back,I sold the old Beretta 687 silver pigeon. During the 90s, it came with cardboard box.
Then i bought the beretta hard shotgun case and listed the shotgun. It sold fast by having both, but shipping costed much more.
It is crazy that the 1400 shotgun back then cost more than 3000 now.

Keep in case I sell, even for the cheaper guns. Bane of my wife's existence. She has accused me of being a gun and cardboard collector.
