    Default DIY Tent Trailer

Spent the day with my son building a tent trailer. I gave him my tow behind camper last year but the HOA where he lives has so many damn rules about a camper at your house he decided to go this route. He picked up a utility trailer and tent package and we needed to build a box for storage and build rails for the actual tent. This way here he can park it in the garage and take up minimal space and still be ready to go on a Friday night. He's happy with the almost finished project-still needs paint, stabilizers, and a door. Great day with him !!!

What did you use for the floor platform?

I sometimes envy people that are small and nimble enough to effectively use something like that.

The tent package has it's own foldable floor. The bottom over the box has a floor section and the ladder is attached to another floor section that folds out and that creates the overhang over the back.

I was surprised by how big the inside actually was when unfolded.

Nice work. I've been working on making my trailer more camping friendly.

I think it would be a lot easier for me to turn over the whole trailer than to get into the tent.

    Very nice.
This is better than buying ripoff High expedition Outfitters (HEOutfitters) trash from con artist Jeff Oliver in Colby Tenessee
