I am a little late to reply, in part because it took me this long to unpack my truck:


Anyways, in my limited experience, this was about as good as it gets. A surprisingly large number of shooters showed up, shot safely, and nobody was an a-hole. I met some great folks and had some really good conversations. No blood, no sun burn, and I came back with as many guns as I started with, not less, not more. Would gladly shoot with all of you ruffians again. Hell, I might even bake a pie next time.

sounds like all long range (200-600) yard shooting. is that correct? i need practice at that too, but just wondering what to bring

@ Hoser's tactical rifle the target distances vary (on average) between 130ish & 300 yds depending on the stage & his whimsy.

Last match one of the 3 stages was a Texas star @ 100 yds from the start position with a subsequent array of staggered targets that went out to 180ish, all to be shot from 5 different barricade positions & under par time.

About as much fun as a lady can have with her skirt in the correct orientation. ;-)

Anything else you might want for your shooting comfort, sling, gloves, knee caps etc.
I suggest fluids, a brass bag, sunscreen & a sense of humor.
