Find a spot to shoot, pick a day & time. At least 3-4 weeks is enough time to get everything finalized. Ask for assistance RO'ing, and to see who can bring what kind of targets and how many. Of course weather / high fire danger will play a part.

Forum members either show up, or they don't. There's usually a decent turn out.

I've been to a shoot (not two.)

We did it last time up at the Pawnee Grasslands/Baker Draw, and it worked out well. We were there early enough in the morning that we staked out our lanes, and had plenty to spare for the other shooters. Felt safe, family like, no problem cooking some dogs on the grill, etc. While I'd love to go south to meet Kaazoo, this is what I know, and since I'd like a shoot, I'd like to set a date.

I have hikes on the 30th, and the 4th, how about Sunday the 14th of July?

I'll volunteer to setup a list of things for folks to offer to bring (food, etc.) if that sounds okay to everyone.

"Hello my forum name is....." tags would be a good idea as well.
