Default NEGUSE WANTS COLORADO TO BE MODEL FOR GUN CONTROL

    https://denver.cbslocal.com/2019/06/...llivan-mauser/

"Neguse was at the meeting that included two fathers who lost their sons to gun violence, state lawmakers who?ve taken on the gun lobby, and the Chair of the U.S. House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force Congressman Mike Thompson of California."

No one pro-gun at the meeting.

    "
In fact, Democratic House Majority Leader Alec Garnett says look for more gun control in the state legislature in 2020, including bills to regulate 3-D guns, require safe storage of guns, and implement a waiting period for gun purchases."

These clowns are never going to stop until private ownership is impossible.

All guns are 3D... WTF are they trying to ban? If it means printed, just one more unenforceable law.

Safe storage? Fvck that. Dont tell me how to store inanimate objects in my house. They want me to buy a safe? Cough up the funding, I dont have cash for that garbage.

Waiting periods? Need to round up women who were victimized while waiting to testify.

Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

Tough time to be without a functional state-level 2A advocacy organization.

This is related. We have no voice to ramp up pressure within the party. There are some good models to emulate like VCDL, but we can't get our acts together. We own this, not the Republican Party.

You mean CSSA? They aren't a lobbying group, and they unfortunately aren't that effective at what they are supposed to be doing, which is administering competitive shooting around the state. I think there's potential there, but current leadership is turning over and they don't have the bandwidth to deal with this. We're flying blind when it comes to having a proper advocacy group in this state.
