    Arrow I'm outie

So I've been growing tired of the way politics are going in this state. I'm tired of the snow, I'm tired of having to pay $1000/mo for a shoebox. I've accepted a job in Texas and will be leaving for Austin on the 24th. The office is 2 blocks away from SilencerShop and Capitol Armory, so that's cool. And I can get a large, awesome apartment for $800/mo

Congratulations. I think you'll like Austin. Good luck in your travels.

Well, the internet works down there as well so we expect you'll do like so many other CO expatriates and continue to participate here - from our other Southern Outpost.

Enjoy TX, it's like a whole nother world down there.

Good luck! Don't think the politics angle will be any better in Austin . . . pretty increasingly progressive town. But you'll definitely get away from the snow and have a lower cost of living. And phenomenal BBQ & music scene.

Yeah, in Austin proper, for sure, but I'll be getting a house outside of the city itself, so I'll still be in a more conservative area. I'm tired of Denver and Boulder having say over the whole state.

Sad to see you go but congrats. And I completely understand.

I've never been to Austin but want to visit some day. I know it's mostly Lefists but TX keeps it grounded. If TX isn't careful, it may go the way of CO someday.
