Just make sure to vote exactly the way that everyone who already lives there votes.

Tons of clearance related positions there on Redstone and in town.
That might be worth looking in to. If I could make a jump to a career in civil space, I'd be pretty ok with that.

If there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to buy a gun, there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to vote.

For legal reasons, that's a joke.

Yep. I believe that's where they're building portions of the SLS.

Justin, I've explained my main reservation to moving to the deep south in private (so we won't rehash that here) but with AL and GA passing these anti-abortion laws triggering massive autistic screeching from the left, you may see a mass exodus of leftists from those states making them much more attractive.

Although I still think I'd prefer the climate of Tennessee and Kentucky better than AL and GA (but if you go WAY south you can get on the coast in AL and GA so maybe that would make up for it).

I suspect your biggest challenge will be getting your baby-mama to agree to the move

I envy all those who get to leave so congrats! I have seven years until my emancipation, but I'm heading to Wyoming or the Dakotas.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Kentucky is very, very pretty once you're in the countryside. Not like Colorado, but still nice.

She seemed ok with the idea of moving to Georgia, but mostly because we'd be getting a new house, which is also kind of a nice perk of moving there.

I was born and raised down here in the south so this is really home for me. Heat and humidity would be tough to get used to if you've never lived here but just like the extreme cold you get used to it. You know what I really love about it here (other then the obvious conservative values) is the people. Maybe it's because they are "my" people but I found the majority of Coloradans to just be rude. Maybe not intentional but they just don't take the time to do the little things that matter, like say hello, wave to your neighbor, hold the door for people, say please and thank you.

Now for those that have not grown up or lived here there will be some culture shock but I think would would come to love it.

And we have a Georgia firearm trading forum site that would blow your mind. I've spent way too much on guns since I have been back here Lol

    hold the door for people,

Entering the dentist office near DTC last week, I held the door open for some dickhead that didn't reciprocate....so I said "you're welcome". He, myself and a lady stepped onto the elevator.

He exited first, and the fucker pressed the open door button on his way out of the elevator. Clearly his big move of the day to F up someone else for a moment, like the guy who busts down the merge lane to the very end and hacks someone off to get in. You petty, self serving piece of shit.

I can't wait to get out of here, it's not soon enough, but my future is ticking away waiting for it to be finally done.

Lots of Mormons in ID. Coincidence?
