His Army Surplus store "armor" didn't do squat to help. He took a round dead center of the chest. Middle of the sternum level with the nipples. He did make it about 50 yards after being shot before faceplanting in the pavement.
He looks like a mall ninja....
It's probably an even more embarrassing display than the google shooter who had no kills. This guy was actually at least basically trained as a soldier and he tied with some liberal arts, Iranian nutcase.
