Default Any hi fi audio guys around?

As part of a family members estate there is some high end audio equipment the family is looking to sell. Most notably a set of JBL 375 cabinets. Does anyone have experience with selling high end speakers and what setup do I need to do to verify their condition for prospective buyers

If those are older speakers, which a wiki search seems to indicate they are, you probably need to replace the (er, ahem, expensive) drivers before selling them. The drivers get stiff (or loose) and do not age well, sound wise.

Audiogon if you want to deal with shipping them.. otherwise Craigslist, I sell High end audio gear for a living, it is all worthless after a couple years unless you find that one guy that is still trying to re-live his high school glory years and has to have them.

    Thanks for the suggestions all

    And def
That’s what I am worried about the family has insurance numbers and is expecting close to that on a lot of items for medical bill reasons. Unique stuff but desirable to only a few

375 are compression drivers and command top dollar, not only for the few, and they're not worthless after a few years by any means.

Easy to check ebay, etc. and see what they're worth. condition matters.

Lansing Heritage is the goto site for all things JBL. FWIW, I'm more of a 70's 80's JBL and Yamaha home audio guy.

I wouldn't say audiophile because I'm also a cheap bastard, more of an enthusiast.
