I near throttled the guy when he said to my face: Accidents happen.

I replied: Yes, they do but this wasnt an accident at all. This was due to the service department's negligence which is why the techs have check lists they are supposed to follow to prevent such from happening.

Accidents happen when I turn a wrench on my cars. That's why I don't charge myself.

If I'm paying for a professional, accidents shouldn't happen.

Yes Skip. It really was the one time I didn't check to see how many screws were still rolling around or tools were still sitting on the shroud under the hood.

You mean it was last time you didn't check?

Because that will probably be the last time you don't assume a monkey with a hammer was under your hood.
