Pathetic. I have been saying it for years. That island sank a long time ago. Long overdue for an ass whooping by the US or the Germans (1916, 1940). Any country that forces its subjects to cut up classic Purdey shotguns is lost.

I too remember the famous WW2 agents fighting a man with metal teeth on a space station!

From the description of the plot this is basically set up to be a buddy movie, you still have Daniel Craig as Bond for this one. It's a goofy action espionage franchise, a movie can have a woman added to it and be good. No idea if this will or not, as bond seems to miss a little more than it hits but I'm sure I'll check it out at some point.

It's not like the franchise has been really stable anyway. Anybody remember Never Say Never Again (1983)? A total remake of Thunderball (1965), with the same Bond actor, but without the usual cast of supporting characters? Was done as a legal settlement for a lawsuit by Executive Producer Kevin McClory against Ian Fleming.
