Somehow I'm incapable of proofing before I hit "Post Quick Reply" so I don't think I've ever posted something that I didn't edit at least once. I pity the foo who quotes me too quickly.

I've gotten much better, so don't start composing a reply unless I intend to post it, now. My self-edit rate is probably down to about 30%, where a few years ago I would end up not posting 90% of replies. Though that was better than drunk-posting a few years earlier still, where I wouldn't even think about my posts or replies, just run off at the keyboard.

I take this as evidence that you are a cautious and prudent person. I delete 90% of my posts.

This. But reversed. For the exact same reason. 10% make it.

I personally thank forum for helping me realize posting long crap with all the evidences and proofs are just wasting everyone's time.

On a money and political thread, I was spending good 25 minutes putting up international trade/finance models/theories/graphs/charts/equation to prove something years back. (My guess was 2008ish).

Found out posting that would be stupid because no one has time to read that shit!

    Delete was a smart move.
