Inquiring minds want to know- What happens if the groups in question start flying the rainbow flag at their events?

I probably would've bought several more and flown them all. Simple-minded progressive fuckers can pound sand.

Christians had dibs on that symbol for ages. Frankly it seems like the gay community specifically chose it as a direct attack on Christianity.

I can?t be the only one who found it funny that the family flying the racist flag was Black.

They kept referring to them as the ?Black family? and I found it funny.

The flag represents officers of all races, creeds, and colors. It is color blind. (The same goes for the 'Betsy Ross' flag)

If having laws that are enforced is 'racist', then what's the solution?

Most of us don't know what it's like to live in constant fear of the police.

[sarc] But, but...da popo hate all people of color and just wanna harass/victimize/murder 'em, so all symbols supporting da po-leece gotta be racist. [/sarc]

Here's an idea: Don't violate the law and you won't have to fear the police. It's actually very simple. Most LEO's are "color blind" and and see only law breakers and law-abiding.

As to the "racist" aspect of the Betsy Ross flag, that flag was officially used for less than 20 years. It was created in 1775 but is not known to have been officially used until 1777. Over the next 20 years, several other flags had been used and in 1795 a flag closest to resembling what we still use today was used (15 stars/15 stripes). By the Civil War, (after several more flags), we were using flags with 13 stripes and 33, 34, and 35 stars...the flag with 35 stars used the most during the Civil War. To say that the Ross flag is a symbol of racism because if was used during a time of slavery in the U.S. is akin to claiming food is racist because it, too, was used during the period of legal slavery in the U.S.
