    We all know.

Six murdered this weekend in Baltimore as well.

Which is why I'm struggling with the "let's not get political" sentiment. Political opportunism/intense media coverage is the primary motivation.

I notice right off the 4 deaths being pushed, gotta push those numbers up. Even FOX is calling it a mass shooting.

Calling any shooting a mass shooting is kind of along the lines of naming storms. All in the name of politicizing an event.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

Mass shooting is like all the other terms that people use to get an emotional response. It's way overused and it means nearly nothing.

Gotta love how all those security checkpoints and metal detectors kept people safe. Heaven forbid a citizen is able to carry a defensive weapon into a festival. I will credit LE for a rapid response, but unfortunately, as we all know, the response was already too late for some. Oh yeah, the "if you defensively shoot more than X (3, 7, 15???) yards away, then you are.going to prison..." crowd can pound sand.

The photo on a local news Facebook page is a cop holding an AK 7.62 with an underfolder stock over the body of the shooter.

The Gilroy police chief just reported the the firearm used was a "SKS, an AK-47 type assault weapon, purchased legally in Nevada...".

Prayers up for the victims and families.
