I spoke with the gate entry gentleman, he said absolutely. They check your permit to make sure it is you and give you a wristband. I still didnt try it. He did check my knofe to make sure it was short enough.

Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.

Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

I went to the Republican Political Convention, and they were wanding. As I approached I saw they had a separate area for LEO and CCW. I was okay with them wanding me, as I would just turn around and am legal ccw, but I decided to go to the CCW/LEO entrance because there was no line.
A couple of cops reviewed my entrance (background check, I'm sure) and then let me in.

Just an FYI. Went through gate 5 - the only gate open before 3pm for folks that want to see the animals and such - you know, what the fair used to be all about...
Metal detectors present in addition to wands.

Just got back form the State Fair. Set off the metal detector and handed the person my CHP and she said, "You have to wait for staff" and called on the radio. About five minutes later she pointed and said "There he is!" ...as he drove right on by to another gate. After about 10 minutes he comes back, doesn't wand me, never looks at my permit, hands me a wrist band and has me write my name and address in a book (without looking at my ID I was tempted to make up a name and address - he wasn't an LEO - but I decided I'm on so many lists, one more would make no difference). While doing all this he got a call on the radio to go to another gate for a CHP holder.
...so they had one person handling all gates. Delay: About 15 minutes.
During the process I asked him what he expects the wrist band to do and his reply was "So we don't shot you." Yhea, I bet the police have been highly trained to look for wrist bands in high stress situations. Not.
Note that no one else has wrist bands, only CHP holders.
Anyway, attached is a picture of the band. The "bead" only slips on, you can't loosen the band. So I put the band on loosely and 50 feet inside of the gate I slipped the band off and put it in my pocket. Problem solved.

Interesting- When did they change their tune on permit holders?
The "rules" on the website indicate all weapons are verboten.
The vagrants of Boulder welcome you...
I'm sure that the website saying that no guns are allowed is simply an innocent oversight. *cough*
I got my information from here; unfortunately both are second hand sources:
