This was my first thought- cutting the barrel as square as possible, then going after it with a brass screw to crown it. Looks like it comes out ok, but after watching Mr Guns & Gear do it on YouTube, the resulting groups looked absolutely horrendous. That or he's a crap shot.
Yeah- hacksaw's ready to go, just have to get it engraved first. At this point, I'm about ready to throw in the towel and just have Rifle Dynamics work their magic on it- at least at that point, the whole rifle will be 1,000% smooth. And it'll be "cerakoted" (they use a different finish/technique, but it looks good).
