I honestly don't understand those who are buying less guns because of background checks. There are so many things that are more of a hassle to purchase than guns. I also don't understand people who won't drive across the metro area to buy a gun either though.

Why would anyone drive across town when you can just buy them on the internet and have them shipped right to your door?

    Particularly the fully-semiautomatic kind.

No shit. The best deals are the ones where you have to make a drive. Since most people will pass on a deal in lakewood, because they have to drive from wheatridge.

I've driven to sterling for a deal that was listed for 2 weeks and still available. Guy said once the interested party found out it was in sterling he never heard from them again. Well a Daewoo K1 and norinco sks paratrooper (1st gen) were worth the drive. Especially when he asked if i had an interest in the ammo since the guns were gone. Sure, give me $100 for all of it?

The scheduling is sometimes a hassle and a BGC can take awhile but overall not such a big deal. There are some that will not make the drive of 40 minutes to meet at an FFL but, oh well. I still get to meet some really good people, more so because of the requirements.
