    Default Mean endomag

Thoughts? Converts pmags to 9mm. Pretty slick set up. About $25 per insert so not crazy cheap but in the grand scheme not awful. Kinda nice for people with sbr lowers.

Looks like a good choice for Coloradoans who are obeying the magazine law and have purchased 9mm ARs after the ban.

ATI offers a 9mm magwell conversion to use glock mags.

Yes but the issue is if you didn't purchase mags before the mag ban. It's also nice for your chest rig or belt set up if you have it set for ar15 mags. But you're right if you shoot glocks and have the mags that makes more sense.

I looked at one of those awhile back. The problem with them is that the magazine blocks usually lock into the mag well via the standard AR magazine release, and the block itself has a magazine release similar to the paddle release on an AK.

The problem with this is that if you're used to hitting the traditional magazine release on your AR and you do this while the block is in, you'll dump the magazine and the block on the ground. If you want to keep the same manual of arms on a 9mm conversion as on a regular AR, you're better off going with a dedicated lower or something like this magazine conversion which seems like a really clever idea.

The only thing I can think of that's a downside is that you lose out being able to use specialty magazines, and you're stuck with the PMAG form factor. This isn't really a big deal, though, especially if weighted against the disadvantages of a mag well block or the cost of a dedicated lower.

If there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to buy a gun, there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to vote.

For legal reasons, that's a joke.

Olympic had a maghwell that used the AR mag release also. After the 3rd day there wasn't an issue. With the ATI unit the release is in front of the mag, IMO allowing possibly a quicker mag change.
