The shot that had the foamy silly string coming out the end was interesting.

I'd like to weigh mine just to see how much weight it has gained over the 9 years that I've had it. No doubt it has put on at least a few ounces of crud.
CLR plus a sonic parts cleaner seems to be the best solution I've found.

Of course, that won't work if your can is Aluminum.

just happens that we have a sonic cleaner here at work, so guess I'll get some CLR and try it myself. My suppressor is titanium.

Do you think CLR works just as good as what a carbon cleaning solution would work? Such as Boretech C4?

CLR works wonders, see the pictures I posted for the results I've gotten with it.

Bore Tech C4 15.00 $ for 3 oz or Zep branded CLR at 15.00 $ a gallon , you'll need at least 30.00 $ of Bore Tech to get started and that is if you just plug and dill the can to soak .

I'm guessing that I easily have north of 6000 rounds through my suppressor, between my .17 hornet, .17 Fireball, 17 Remington, .17-204, .204, .223 AR, and my 22-250, so I am going to try to clean it. I plan to weigh it before cleaning and after, to see if it loses a significant amount of weight. It was supposed to weigh 10 oz. when it was new, but I never weighed it.

well I started the process of cleaning my S.A.S. Ti today. I bought a 16 oz. bottle of C4 and used it. Placed my suppressor in a glass beaker and filled it with the C4 and ran the heated ultra-sonic 5 hours. Good lord the fluid was a gravy when I dumped it out, black gravy. For what I can see, I got more cleaning to do. I will buy some CLR next for my next round of cleaning.

Did you weigh it before you started?

No I didn't. I tried to but the scale that we have here maxed out and gave no reading, so it's just to heavy to weigh. Not sure what weight the scale goes up to, but not high enough for this purpose.
