TBH, the lies and distortions verbalized and written by Steve & Cokie Roberts for decades were sad. The slide of the NYT and WP from unabashedly liberal to flat-out demented extremists willing to violate every journalist canon they supposedly held dear is even sadder. The way the Left has skewed values in the country to where moderate values just 30 years ago are viewed as ultra-conservative, slightly liberal values are now viewed as slightly conservative, and once-ultra leftists are called "moderates" is the saddest. I am utterly amazed that the very crowd that used to wine about the Hollywood Blacklist so openly espouses societal blacklists, public harassment, and even physical violence for anyone that disagrees with their extreme tripe.
