More like he isn't going to flee from a corrupt ruined state and then vote for the same sort of policies that destroyed the state he was fleeing.

But I guess it sounds more edgy your way.

Of course he's going to try and move somewhere he already feels comfortable and aligns with beliefs, but that's what everyone thinks. I've only met one person who told me a story about moving somewhere (here) and hating it (too conservative), but she was one of the dumber people I've ever met.

Just a reminder that everyone complains about transplants, until they are one.

This is mild compared to what's being purposed in other states, don't move to Oregon.

That depends on whether or not you're trying to turn your new home into the shithole you just left. It's not a problem if you embrace the new home and its ways and let the lessons of where you left serve as a warning to how things can go horribly wrong.

I would argue that the vast majority of California dems/leftists flooding into other states don't have any idea how it is their political ideology that has ruined California. They didn't vote for corrupt leaders, high taxes and overbearing regulation ... they voted for people they thought weren't evil (all Republicans are evil), they voted for programs to help the downtrodden and regulations to prevent evil capitalists from destroying the earf.

They'll repeat their voting habits in their new homes because they think they're doing good. Then in a few years they'll be all surprised that their new home is just as bad as California and will shrug their shoulders and move on to the next red state and repeat their destruction there.

These people are too dumb to ever learn.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

    Sounds just like Locusts.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

True, but the comment by Irving seemed to be aimed at this audience.

Just pointing out the incongruity of complaining about transplants in the same breath as deciding to become one.
