The suppressor will be going on a .308.

What would everyone suggest for a suppressor? Is one of these TBAC's the way to go? Anything else I should look at?

Recommended suppressor dealers?

Any thoughts on youth hearing protection that can be used effectively in hunting situations?

Thanks!

I think you're on the right track as a responsible parent looking out for you son's hearing. When I started shooting competitively as a junior we used wads of cotton. A couple years later I bought ear muffs. But hearing damage happens when you take quick shots at game when there isn't time to use ear protection.

I'm not familiar with the TBAC products but I'd say, buy the best you can afford because a suppressor is likely to be a permanent acquisition. I'm happy with the SilencerCo Omega 300, advertised as the lightest, shortest, quietest, magnum and full-auto rated suppressor on the market. The shot report from my 7mm-08 on a pronghorn Saturday morning was like a pop in the wind. What a joy!
