Maybe, most people that have multiple are getting rid of them to go to one. Where they get you is their exclusives - Amazon and Netflix now have their own content, so if you want their shows you have to have their service. Amazon has been pushing for people to buy all the cable networks thru them: HBO, Cinemax, etc. But what haven't they tried in their business of trying to be your one stop shop for everything?

Distributing a free catalog across the nation that is slightly smaller in dimensions than other coffee table books so it sits on the very top of the stack and is always visible? A catalog that let's farm girls in Nebraska order the same fancy dresses as ladies in New York are wearing? Have they tried that?

Amazon shot that through the heart. It just refuses to die.

Multiple sources is not that big of a deal. I can be watching Amazon on the tv, while browsing YTTV on the phone. If I find something to watch, I just tell it to start playing on the tv.

But soon enough, there will be player that integrates multple sources on one guide. Amazon fire stick kinda does this with movies when you search.

Amazon already does this, you can get Starz and some HBO shows along with Amazon prime.

For legal reasons, that's a joke.

Everyone talks about cutting the cord and how they can get the channels they want in other ways.

Is there any way to cut the cord from the big 3 and still be able to watch all 4 of the local pro sports teams and CU football?

So far it seems the answer is no, but all I really watch on TV is sports and news.

I cut everything and just stream anything I watch on the Internet. I wouldn't mind paying someone for it, but the cable/satellite companies are just ridiculous. Especially with the ordeal with Altitude and cable companies for streaming Avalanche and Nuggets games.

I can usually find any game on the Internet. Try Googling 'reddit streams'. Just make sure you got good virus protection because you can run into some bad sites.
