The A300 Outlander is their budget, entry level shotgun marketed for the masses so I?m not horribly surprised that fit and finish aren?t high on their priority list. Most of the ones that are sold will likely see heavy use in the field and I imagine most of those will see some cosmetic blemishes after their first outing.

As far as the the finish on the receiver rusting, I am pretty certain it has an aluminum receiver so likely rust wouldn?t have been an issue.
