    Sorry to hear this. I’ve shot a lot there, and the new owners have done a bit to make it feel nicer.

    I sure don’t miss how gross the air was in there back in the day. Blowing your nose and it was just black.

    If powder goes off inside an "open" cartridge, the heavy bullet doesn't move very much, but the light case goes flying, albeit without much energy. He was most probably being hit by cases, not bullets.

    In most cases they actually just rupture and nothing really goes "flying".

    Had a neighbor's house burn down. He liked his firearms.

    The first VFD truck arrived 5 minutes before I did. Spent the afternoon running hoses and dodging .45acp casings. Fun times.

    I can't imaging a store full of ammo going up.
