Default Gun store owner changes 'Black Friday' to 'White Friday'

Didn't realize a person could own a gun in Canada to begin with.

It?s definitely a whole different set of rules. Some things are pretty restrictive yet other things are easier to own there than here. Short barreled rifles are good to go with no unnecessary paperwork from what I?ve seen on YouTube.

Yeah, buying a "Mare's Leg" type levergun and then putting a full-size buttsock on it is a popular thing there, and hassle-free. Try that here.....

Those things are all well and good. But I think I'll take gun laws here over Canada. Any day.

As for the "White Friday" thing? Sounds like he was just looking for attention and got it. Mission accomplished.

Red Friday= you are so buried in losses like JCPenny or Kmart/Sears that the day after thanksgiving ain't going to save them.

Black Friday= black ink instead of red ink on books for retailers.

Whitr Friday= they used whiteout/liquid paper to alter their books. Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will audit after this article.

As long as you have a restricted PAL rather than the basic PAL I believe that's true. I think short barrel shotguns are good to go on the basic license.

Google is my friend when it comes to acronyms:

A possession and acquisition license (PAL) is a firearms license in Canadian law.

All of the following require a license in Canada

Possession of a firearm (including long guns)
Acquisition of a firearm (including long guns)
Possession or acquisition of ammunition for a firearm
Borrowing any of the above (technically possession/acquisition, but can be licensed separately).
