Looking for a decent touchscreen laptop. Toss up between a Dell & HP. Just don't know (even now) about what's good or not in the under $500 price range. Do i need a touchscreen type or not? who knows. I don't game on them so no need for a graphics card type

We picked up HP 15" laptop last spring for approx $350. Intel Core i5 1.8Ghz, 4GB ram. Mrs bo doesn't use touch screen but I use it alot. Not a hotrod but does what we need.

Sounds like you are looking for something like a Microsoft Surface. You can use it as a small laptop or remove the screen and use it as a tablet. Great for people that travel a lot or mostly use their laptops for personal use as in surf the web and use email, though it is a fully capable laptop and can run any program that any other computer can run.
That's what I was hoping to do but it tells me "not available online". Maybe I'll take another look.

Bass Pro had a sig p365 for $399, I would have been all over it had I not just picked one up for way more than that. Stupid on my part to buy a gun retail in mid November.
