Bullshit. Nobody uses videotape these days.

I have to admit that when I read the shooter was from the Saudi Air Force, I had a thought that it was the Saudi Air Force that attacked on 9-11.

We needed the Saudis when oil was a problem. Now that oil is no longer a problem for us, is it time to cut the Saudis loose?

Yes, and they're all quotes from Osama and other top names in Islamic terror.

of course you can put me in the "we shouldn't even sell the Saudis desk staplers, let alone fighter jets" crowd.

We should give the Saudis as much ordnance as we can...preferably delivered by B-52s at about 30K feet...

Navy grounds Saudi pilot trainees after deadly shooting at Pensacola Naval Air Station
WASHINGTON – The Navy has grounded more than 300 Saudi nationals training to be pilots after the shooting rampage last week at Pensacola Naval Air Station, the Navy said Tuesday.

Training for all personnel at the Florida base was suspended over the weekend, said Navy Cdr. Clay Doss, a spokesman. Limited training resumed Monday, including for some international students. However, the Saudi students remain grounded, Doss said. Some classroom training for them is expected to resume this week.

Second Lt. Mohammed Alshamrani, 21, of the Royal Saudi Air Force, armed with a legally purchased 9mm Glock handgun and several extra magazines, started the rampage on Friday that ended with three dead, including Alshamnrani. Eight others, including two sheriff's deputies were wounded. The FBI is investigating the shootings as a terror attack.

"A safety stand-down and operational pause commenced Monday for Saudi Arabian aviation students at (Naval Air Station) Pensacola and NAS Whiting Field and NAS Mayport, Florida," Doss said. "Classroom training is expected to resume this week for those students. There are approximately 140 Saudi Arabian students training at NAS Pensacola and 35 at NAS Whiting Field and 128 at NAS Mayport."

Deputy Defense Secretary David Norquist on Tuesday ordered Defense intelligence officials to review and strengthen vetting procedures in light of the shooting.

On a side note; If politicians believe the Constitutional protections of the 2nd Amendment don't apply to "foreign nationals", why do they feel illegals in this country are protected by the Constitution?

Saudi servicemen to be expelled from US after review of December shooting at Air Force base
More than a dozen Saudi servicemen training at US military installations will be expelled from the United States after a review that followed the deadly shooting last month at a Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, multiple sources told CNN.

The Saudis are not accused of aiding the 21-year-old Saudi Air Force second lieutenant who killed three American sailors in the December shooting, two sources said, but some are said to have connections to extremist movements, according to a person familiar with the situation.

A number are also accused of possessing child pornography, according to a defense official and the person familiar with the situation. Spokespeople for the FBI and Justice Department declined to comment.

About a dozen Saudi trainees at the Pensacola base had been confined to their quarters as the FBI investigated the shooting as a potential terror attack, and the Pentagon initiated a review of all Saudi military trainees in the country, numbering around 850 students.

The Justice Department is expected to conclude that the Pensacola shooting was in fact an act of terrorism, according to a US official.

No co-conspirators have been charged as part of the investigation, and the Saudi government has pledged its full support.
