Just noticed an email about pre-orders for the Glock 44 in 22LR coming January 2020. Anybody have any info on this pistol?

No. But it looks like there are several YouTube videos with some info.

Beat me by three minutes. Lol.

Yeah, I had found the TFB video after posting the question here. Interesting that they're doing the threaded barrel in Europe, but not here. I guess we can thank our protective overlords for making suppressors so difficult to get and use.
My G19 slide rubs the web of my thumb. Since this is supposed to mimic the G19 with an even lighter polymer slide, that would be a no-go.

It ships with only 1 magazine and no threaded barrel.

David - CS, CO feedback
It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.
By my math, running CCI Standard at $0.05/round, purchased 9mm at $0.15/round, and a $400 pricetag, this is 4k rounds to breakeven. Couple months of practice, depending on the schedule. Minimal recoil and presumably fantastic accuracy also achieves a nice decoupling of pure skillset marksmanship.
If I didn't already have a nice AA kit, this would be a phenomenal value for a high volume competitive shooter.
9mm - because they don't make a 9.1mm
That?s the best thing about numbers is you can get just about any result you want.
New Glock 19 = $500
22 conversion kit = $300
Total $800 for a G19 in 22 cal.
Or
New Glock 44 = $400
See. A guy can get his 22 cal Glock for half the price of putting one together himself.
